Taste My Tips is your one stop shop for fantastic tips on how to grow incredible vegetables and mouth watering ways to cook up your bumper crop.
You can view all of the tips as a guest, but in order to really get the most out of the site, you'll need to register below. Once registered you get your own personal tips page and you can add your favourite tips to this page by clicking the thumbs up icon next to each tip. This will also add to that tips weekly 'thumbs up' score, with the top rated tip each week getting the writer a fantastic prize.
In the event of a tie for the top rated tip, Channel 4 will select a random winner from those tips with the highest number of thumbs up.
You'll also be able to add your own tips when logged in, giving you a chance to win our weekly competition as well as being able to comment on other tipsters tips, letting them know whether it worked for you.

Rules for uploading Tips
- The Jamie at Home website (“Site”) is owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation and 4 Ventures Limited (“Channel 4”).
- By visiting this site and uploading your tips and comments (“your content”) you will be deemed to have accepted these rules (“Rules”) which also incorporate the terms and conditions for www.channel4.com and Channel 4’s privacy policy. Please read these carefully as they set out your rights and obligations and the terms on which Channel 4 makes the Site available to you and provide information on how you can submit your content and how this will be used. If you do not agree to these Rules you may not use the Site.
- In order to upload your content to the Site you will be required to register. By registering with the Site you promise that you are over 18. You will be asked to select a username and password which you must not share with anyone else as you are responsible for all activities under your account. Information collected from your registration will be used in accordance with Channel 4’s privacy policy.
- You shall retain ownership of your content, however, you hereby grant Channel 4 a non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free licence to use and make available your content on the Site and in all media now known or in future invented throughout the world in perpetuity.
- In uploading tips or comments to the Site you promise that:
- your content has not been copied from someone else and that it is original to you, and if your content is not original to you, you promise that you have obtained permission from the owner to upload it to the Site;
- your content is not defamatory, obscene, a breach of privacy, intended to harass, cause distress, offensive, or incite racial hatred or otherwise illegal;
- to the best of your knowledge, your content is accurate and safe and will not cause personal injury or damage to property; and
- you shall indemnify Channel 4 against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising from a breach of the promises given by you under these Rules.
- If you register for the Site you will be able to make comments on other peoples content and “give the thumbs up” (i.e. vote) for those tips that you think are good (you will only be able to vote once for each tip).
- Each week until the 22nd of February 2008 Channel 4 will give a prize to the tip with the most “thumbs up” votes. Channel 4’s competition terms and conditions apply to this competition and are hereby incorporated into these Rules so please read them carefully. Details of the Site competition are as follows:
- Each weekly competition will end at 12pm on Friday after which Channel 4 shall identify the top-rated tip of that week;
- In the event of a tie for the top-rated tip Channel 4 shall select the winner at random;
- Each tip can be rated by visitors who log on to the site but users are not able to rate the same tip more than once;
- At the end of each weekly competition the tips on the Site will have their scores reduced back to 0 and the competition begins again;
- Details of the prize for each weekly competition will be set out on the Site;
- Winners will be contacted via email and will have 1 month to claim their prize.
- In making comments on another person’s tips you can be honest but do not be offensive, insulting or inflammatory.
- Channel 4 reserves the right to remove your content from the Site or cancel your account for any reason at any time, including but not limited to where Channel 4 believes you have breached these Rules. Channel 4’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Disclaimer: The tips provided by other members of the public contained on this Site are published by Channel 4 in good faith. The tips are provided by Channel 4 for entertainment purposes only and Channel 4 makes no warranties or guarantees that the tips are complete, effective or safe. Use of the tips are solely at the user's own risk. Where a tip involves use of commercial products or equipment always follow the manufacturers instructions. - Channel 4 reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time and you will be deemed to have accepted any updated or amended Rules on re-visiting the Site so please check the Rules regularly.
- These Rules are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
