Whilst clearing the gutter on my conservatory I managed to knock over the stepladder and plummet into my lovingly tended tomatoe plants. As a consequence I decapitated several of them and had to indulge in a bit of impromptu surgery. Amazingly my combination of stakes and gaffer tape seemed to do the trick as they still flowered!
