    A really great way to eat fennel (if you're not watching your waistline) is to chop the bulb into chunks vertically (i.e through the root), blanch in boiling water for a couple of minutes then cover with cream and top with parmesan cheese and bake in the oven at about 180c for 45 minutes or until cooked. Yum.
