We all know restaurants do it - so when microwaving vegetables to serve with a main course - cover them in the dish with well buttered kitchen paper. You can cook your vegetables well in advance, wash the pans - less washing up if you're having a dinner party. You will also get everything served up hot. Unlike some restaurants do!
