Perfect jacket potatoes can be cooked in the microwave until just cooked through and then put in a clay potato pot over a low heat, preferably on a gas ring. You don't need to add anything else - after about 15 minutes (turn once or twice) they will be all crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside.
