    Try growing mooli radish, or daikon for a change. It's easy to grow, great raw or cooked. I like it best grated really fine so it ends up fluffy, eaten with a little ginger and soy sauce as an accompaniment to oily fish - a simple, tasty Japanese dish (after you've caught your mackerel, of course!)
